Performance specification
Anyone wishing to handle explosive substances (black powder, nitrocellulose powder) and/or acquire them requires a permit in accordance with §27 of the Explosives Act (SprengG). In order to be able to acquire such a permit, you must first attend a course to teach the specialist knowledge required for the non-commercial handling and use of explosive substances. You need a clearance certificate for admission to this course. You will receive the clearance certificate on application.

What are the fees?
The issue of a clearance certificate is subject to a fee. The fees are determined in accordance with the Administrative Cost Regulations for the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration (VwKost-HSM). The costs range between 30.00 - 250.00 euros.
What deadlines do I have to observe?
The application must be submitted in good time, at the latest 8 weeks before the intended participation in a course.

The certificate is issued upon presentation of the reliability and personal suitability to participate in courses according to the Explosives Act.
