Performance specification
"Round-the-clock" care for people who are in need of care and constantly require comprehensive nursing care and support and, if necessary, supervision, which cannot be guaranteed in a flat even with professional support.
Note:
The local social welfare office is responsible for people who have reached the age of 65Which documents are required?
A fully completed social assistance application must be submitted. After receipt of the application, further individually required documents will be requested.
What deadlines do I have to observe?
The benefit can be approved at the earliest when the LWV Hessen or a social welfare office becomes aware of the need.

Assistance for care according to §§ 61- 66 SGB XII
What else should I know?
For people under the age of 60, suitable alternatives are available in residential care homes and residential homes for people with significant disabilities if care in the home with professional support is not possible.
Care insurance benefits should be prioritised.
