Social assistance for people in need of care: district invites you to an information evening
The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg invites all interested citizens to an information evening on the topic of "Assistance with care in facilities". The event will take place on 11 May at 4.30 pm in the district council meeting room of the district building in Korbach.
Demand for support is growing
As the costs of care homes rise, so does the number of people who are dependent on social assistance. Accordingly, the number of applications is constantly increasing. The information evening is intended to provide clarification and important information about the application process for support services. It is aimed at all interested citizens, relatives of people in need of care or, for example, employees of care homes.
Social welfare office provides information on how to apply
During the event, the social welfare department will provide comprehensive information on the procedure for applying for care assistance. Among other things, it will deal with the right time to apply, the expected duration of the application process and the chances of success. It will also deal with how to deal with existing assets or property, questions about gifts or the reimbursement of costs by heirs.

It is not necessary to register in advance for the event. Anyone interested can simply come along to the information evening at the Korbach district hall and find out more.
