Civil Protection Resilience Week

What should be included in an emergency supply kit? How can I prepare myself and my family in the event of a prolonged power cut or another crisis? Answers to these questions are provided by Resilience Week, an initiative by the State of Hesse in cooperation with the Retail Association. In the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, a civil protection expert will be on hand at selected supermarkets on two dates to provide information to members of the public: On Tuesday 8 September from 11 am to 7 pm at REWE Stephan Fink in Korbach, and on Thursday 10 September, also from 11 am to 7 pm, at REWE Denis Schneider in Frankenberg (Eder). At both locations, a sample emergency supply kit for one person will be on display. David Rudolph from the district’s specialist service for ambulance, fire and disaster response will be on hand to answer any questions.
