Parents' café with reading programme for parents with small children in Korbach

In 2026, parents' cafés with reading aloud will once again take place in the Korbach public library. The offer from the Youth Service of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, Early Help Department, in cooperation with the public library, is aimed at parents with small children, from birth to 3 years of age. Siblings are also very welcome.

A child-friendly environment and the guidance of library staff and a volunteer reading aloud specialist create the best conditions for all guests of the parents' café to spend pleasant hours in the public library. Parents can go on a journey of discovery into the world of books together with their child with the help of interesting and stimulating read-alouds.

As there is only a limited number of participants for the parents' café with reading programme, registration is required by emailing stadtbuecherei@korbach.de. Participation in the event is free of charge.
