Guided tour of the GrenzWelten Geopark: Secrets of the Zechenstein Sea

Of pings and a stream without water

Join us on a circular walk from the Korbach Plateau through the Marbeck Valley, with views of the Eisenberg, and discover geological processes and phenomena spanning over 350 million years. Discover how a 250-million-year-old sea shaped our landscape as we know it today, and what a vanished stream has to do with it. This guided tour also covers the area’s mining history and the flora and fauna of this nature reserve. Booking is required and can be made up until the day before the event.
