Online workshop: #everynamecounts - Together against forgetting
Who were the people who were persecuted during the Nazi era? Who from Waldeck-Frankenberg was affected? And how can we work together to ensure that their stories are not forgotten?
As part of the #everynamecounts join-in weeks in Waldeck-Frankenberg, the Arolsen Archives are offering a digital introduction. The event will provide historical background information and step-by-step instructions on how to edit the documents. Afterwards you can try it out: Together, the names and fates of victims and survivors of National Socialism will be recorded and visualised from original documents during the event. Help build the largest digital memorial to those persecuted by the Nazis and set an example for respect, diversity and democracy today.
Participation: The online event will take place via the BigBlueButton platform. A link will be sent out shortly before the event; it is not necessary to download any special software. The event is free of charge.
Registration: Registration takes place online. If you have any questions, please contact Kea Sarah Brahms from the DEXT centre in the Rural Development Department.
