Online talk: Know your rights! – Right-wing extremism and the justice system

When exactly is far-right hate speech a criminal offence? Which far-right symbols and insignia are banned? And what does it mean when the judiciary does or does not recognise a political motive in legal proceedings? The DEXT specialist centres in North Hesse would like to invite you to take part in the online talk ‘Do you know your rights? – Far-right extremism and the justice system’. This interactive talk, organised by Gesicht Zeigen! Für ein weltoffenes Deutschland e.V. provides basic legal knowledge on relevant criminal offences and highlights the major gaps in the legal approach to right-wing extremism.

Attendance: The talk is free of charge and will take place via the Webex platform.

Registration: For registration and if you have any questions, please contact Anna Stiehl from the DEXT Schwalm-Eder office is available to assist you. The registration deadline is 2 November 2026.
