International Museum Day

International Museum Day will take place at the Museum im Kloster Frankenberg on 17 May from 11 am to 5 pm. The motto is "Museums as bridge builders" and focuses on the unifying power of museums. As places of dialogue and understanding, they can bring people together and build bridges across social, cultural and political boundaries with creative formats.

A short guided tour (45 minutes) of the new museum takes place at 11.30 am. A museum rally and word puzzles with the museum ghost Wigand as well as various other colouring activities are offered for children and young people. Interested guests are cordially invited. Admission is free.
