THEATERWOCHE: "Flori and Tom - Do you remember?"

In-house production by Zirkus kunterbunt, Herzogenrath under the direction of Eckhard Debour and Kerstin Rosenberger.

Flori and Tom - the frogs from Broichbachtal tells the story of two cheerful amphibians who lead a carefree life full of circus tricks in Broichbachtal in Herzogenrath: They juggle with scarves, whizz through the forest on unicycles, balance on running balls and swing bravely through the air.

But one day they fall down a dark shaft and find themselves in a narrow, cold trap. There they meet and become friends in their fear and loneliness, encouraging each other with memories of freedom. Together they dream of the forest, the sun and their little circus life, which suddenly seems unattainable. But when one day something changes in the shaft, they cautiously begin to harbour new hope. This story is accompanied by Luzie, the young author, whose view of the events becomes decisive.

The group consists of six girls from Years 5 and 6 from the Kunterbunt circus at Herzogenrath Municipal Grammar School under the direction of Kerstin Rosenberger. This year, with the help of Eckhard Debour, they are trying to combine the art forms of circus and theatre.
