THEATRE WEEK: "Krabat"

THEATRE WEEK: "Krabat"
Own production based on W. Shakespeare's "Hamlet" by the youth club of the KOM'MA Theatre Duisburg under the direction of Laura Vorgang, Tamara Hermanns and René Linke.
Shrugging shoulders, shaking heads, rolling eyes. The annoyed response of Generation Z to the big questions in life is usually: No plan! Neither personally nor politically do they know where the journey is going, all safe coordinates have become questionable, in short: "Time is out of joint." And that brings us to the Danish chief procrastinator Hamlet, who would prefer to opt for "or" even when faced with the question of the century: "To be or not to be?".
"Das Stück, dem es scheißegal ist, dass sein Titel recht vage ist" is a self-developed play set against the backdrop of Shakespeare's great work. It is an exciting expedition through perplexing times - and shows in a furious way that a lack of a plan can be as funny as it is creative. With singing, dancing and an integrated audience workshop, across all stories, genres and flavours, the present is spat in the face - and Hamlet is made a head shorter.
