Visit the Kellerwald National Park Centre This central information and education centre is situated in the west of the national park in Vöhl-Herzhausen on Lake Eder. As well as exhibitions, a 4D film and plenty of hands-on activities, the National Park Centre also offers catering and other services. The centre showcases the diversity of the native flora and fauna and their habitats, and explains the national park’s global responsibility as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. The National Park Centre also serves as an advice and meeting point for holidaymakers and visitors from the region. It is surrounded by a varied outdoor area with a playground and free parking facilities.
