Change of use of buildings

  • Performance specification

A change of use is a change in the approved type of use of a building. The change of use - even without structural changes - requires building permission if public building law places different or more extensive requirements on the structural facility in the new use. This is usually the case. The procedure is the same as for the approval of new buildings.
