Performance specification
If the rear number plate of your vehicle is partially or completely obscured by a load carrier or load being carried (e.g. bicycle carrier), the number plate must be repeated on the vehicle or on the load carrier.
Stamping of the third licence plate is not required.
Attachments as interchangeable accessories for motor vehicles and trailers do not need to carry registration plates.
If the vehicle's number plates are obscured, it is recommended that repeat number plates are fitted.
The same applies to trailed agricultural and forestry implements.
What are the fees?
Since processing by a registration authority is not necessary, no fees and expenses are incurred. No information can be given on the acquisition costs for the repeat registration plate and its installation.
