Counselling services on HIV/Aids, Mpox, hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections are available from the Hessian health authorities and independent providers (Hessian AIDS service organisations). Counselling is confidential, anonymous and free of charge. Counselling topics can include, for example, the HIV test, infection risks, infection protection, fear of infection and options for vaccination against Mpox. There is also comprehensive information on HIV infection, AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis and Mpox. Counselling can take place in person, online (e-mail, counselling chat) or by telephone.
It is possible to have an anonymous HIV test as well as tests for hepatitis and other sexually transmitted infections at the health authorities and AIDS service organisations. The local health authority will inform you about the options and whether an appointment is necessary.Which documents are required?
