Geismar waste transfer station

The waste transfer station in Geismar is another disposal facility of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. After the landfill in Flechtdorf, it is the second largest of the three disposal facilities. Unlike at the landfill site, the waste is stored here in containers, sometimes on pallets (depending on the type of waste), and at the appropriate time it is sent off for thermal recycling or to the landfill site, or to other disposal facilities.
