One database for all

In August 2013, the health department of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district launched the project "One database for all". The aim of the project is that all water suppliers in the district, the laboratories commissioned with sampling and the specialist health service work with a uniform database.

With the use of a uniform database and the associated networking of cooperation, it is possible to show more transparency and appreciation for the important commodity of drinking water. So far, about three quarters of all water suppliers in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district use the database or have commissioned the programme's manufacturing company to set it up.
