From the promotion of young medical professionals to the establishment of targeted care structures: since 2012, the district has had a comprehensive and targeted strategy to ensure sustainable health care.
With the support of the SHI Alliance for Health, the district would like to develop an overall strategy to strengthen health promotion and prevention in the long term.
Breastfeeding is good for the health of mother and child and promotes bonding. The district therefore promotes the establishment of breastfeeding-friendly places in Waldeck-Frankenberg.
