5th National Day of Action against Catcalling - #No Compliments

Comments such as "Ey sweetie - hot bum" Whistling behind you, kissing noises - none of these are compliments, but verbal sexual harassment. This humiliates those affected, intimidates and is a massive problem. While other countries such as Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal and Belgium already penalise catcalling, Germany is lagging behind legally.

We're putting an end to silence! #KeinKompliment
Since 2023, the Specialist Service for Women and Equal Opportunities has been giving those affected a voice. As part of the #KeinKompliment campaign, we collect anonymous testimonials to make the extent of catcalling visible.
