Financial literacy for young professionals (1/3): Financial responsibility & budget planning

Get your career off to a financially secure and well-prepared start! In partnership with the vocational schools in Korbach and Bad Arolsen, we’re offering a three-part seminar series that will equip you with practical knowledge for your financial future. Learn how to manage your money wisely, protect yourself effectively and successfully build up your ‘wealth’. This series will equip you to make all the key financial decisions as you embark on your career.

Module 1/3: Financial Responsibility & Budget Planning

  • What financial changes take place when you start your career?
  • Understanding your salary: gross / net, deductions, tax bands
  • Identifying income and fixed and variable expenditure
  • Drawing up a household budget
  • proactively manage irregular expenditure
  • Saving vs. spending: setting realistic goals
  • An insight into the income tax return

 

The event is free of charge.
