Financial literacy for young professionals (3/3): Insurance – what’s essential, and what’s optional?
Get your career off to a financially secure and well-prepared start! In partnership with the vocational schools in Korbach and Bad Arolsen, we’re offering a three-part seminar series that will equip you with practical knowledge for your financial future. Learn how to manage your money wisely, protect yourself effectively and successfully build up your ‘wealth’. This series will equip you to make all the key financial decisions as you embark on your career.
Module 3/3: Insurance – what’s essential and what’s optional?
- Why do insurance companies exist (the risk principle)?
- Basic cover vs. supplementary cover
- What types of insurance are relevant for those starting out in their careers?
- What should you look out for in contracts (e.g. terms, termination, costs)?
The event is free of charge.
