Coming Out Days

Coming Out Days: Celebrating diversity, promoting acceptance: International Coming Out Day on 11 October stands for courage and solidarity. Courage for those who come out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, inter* or queer, and solidarity from society as a whole. During the week of events, the district, together with many partners, is sending a strong message of acceptance and equality. In Waldeck-Frankenberg, everyone should be able to live their sexual orientation and gender identity openly and without fear of discrimination. Visibility is crucial in breaking down prejudices and fostering a deeper understanding of the diverse realities of life for LGBTIQ* people. Through inspiring events and engaging workshops, the aim is to inform, encourage and celebrate diversity!
