Money-Master e.V. helps with debt counselling and debt prevention for young people up to the age of 27 in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. Debt, contract traps, payment problems? Money-Master e.V. works together with those seeking advice to reduce debts incurred, secure the income of those seeking help and protect themselves from persistent creditors (e.g. debt collection agencies) - free of charge and with a duty of confidentiality

Counselling appointments: By telephone appointment at the district centre (Südring 2, 34497 Korbach). Every fortnight on Wednesdays in the even calendar week 13:30-16:00. Counselling appointments can also be arranged by telephone in Bad Arolsen, Bad Wildungen and Frankenberg.

Debt prevention & debt counselling at schools

Money-Master also offers free 90-minute prevention events on topics that affect young people. Here, the topic of "Money, how to handle it and how to protect yourself from the debt trap" is explored in an age-appropriate way. Popular topics include smartphones, online trading, social networks, first own flat, first own car, what happens if the bill is not paid, etc.
