City cycling and school cycling

In 2022, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg - and with it 13 of its towns and municipalities - took part for the first time in the international STADTRADELN campaign of the Climate Alliance. In this way, all people in Waldeck-Frankenberg could do good for the environment by entering the kilometres cycled during the campaign period into the competition. Parallel to STADTRADELN, school cycling has also been taking place since 2022 - a special competition in which only the results of schools in Waldeck-Frankenberg were scored.
