Merger to form the Waldeck-Frankenberg Hospital
The hospitals in Frankenberg and Korbach have merged to form the Waldeck-Frankenberg Hospital Group (KWF). The aim is to organise both sites in such a way that they can continue to provide the best possible healthcare in the future. However, with rising costs, insufficient investment funding, an acute shortage of skilled staff and in light of the nationwide hospital reform, the hospitals will no longer be able to manage this on their own. To maintain the high standard of medical care in Waldeck-Frankenberg, structured cooperation between the hospitals is essential. The Waldeck-Frankenberg Hospital therefore offers optimal healthcare provision under one umbrella across two sites.
