Performance specification
Anyone who leases a plot of land used for agricultural purposes concludes a land lease agreement. In Hesse, land leases with agricultural land of one hectare or more and land with buildings used for agricultural purposes must be reported. Legal validity is only guaranteed through notification.
Contracts to be notified should be submitted in triplicate to the Agricultural Department.

In Hesse, notification is mandatory for land leases with agricultural land of one hectare or more and for land with buildings used for agricultural purposes.
Usually, a lease year begins on 01 October and ends on 30 September.
Old contracts that have not yet been notified may be submitted subsequently at any time. If a contract has already been submitted, it is marked with a corresponding official note at the end.
